Infra Designer
Location: London or Swindon – Hybrid 1-2 days per week in office
Term: circa 8 months
Rate: £700 per day (inside IR35, via Umbrella Company)
Job Description
Critical Open Banking Infrastructure SME, history of Open Banking Infrastructure evolution. Acts as technical contact with OBIE Directory.
Role – Open Banking Platform design SME
Must have” skills, knowledge and experience:
o Experience of leading a small infrastructure design team
o Strong working knowledge of on-prem infrastructure patterns and conceptso Knowledge of OAuth2 and Open ID Connect
o Communicating with all levels, including internal and external Business Stakeholders, technical peers and suppliers
o A deep understanding of TLS, certificate management, and payload signing
o Experience of conducting changes on production environments within a highly available infrastructure
o Experience of working in a regulated environment
o Experience of working on an API ecosystemo Infrastructure design experience, with working knowledge of the following:
§ API gateways
§ VMWare
§ Security best practices
§ Networking concepts and best practices
“Nice to have” skills, knowledge and experience:
o Open Banking knowledge and experience
o Knowledge of containerisation platforms, such as Kubernetes/OpenShift
o Experience of working with and designing use of CI/CD and DevOps Tooling
o Experience of on-prem to public cloud migration activity
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
Salary: Up to £700.00 per day
