Security Engineer (Corporate)

Tia has raised more than $132 Million in venture capital funding to date, including a $100 Million Series B investment, one of the largest early-stage rounds ever for a healthcare company focused on women. Since launching in 2017, Tia has grown to serve thousands of women aged 18-80 with blended in-person and virtual care in New York City, Los Angeles, Phoenix and San Francisco. In 2023, Tia announced its most recent joint venture partner, Cedars-Sinai. Tia and Cedars-Sinai plan to serve more than 100,000 women in the Los Angeles region, and aim to expand access to comprehensive women's health care in a market with primary care/GYN provider shortages.

Your Opportunity

At Tia we believe that if you want to fix healthcare you have to fix it for patients and providers. Our responsibility is to ensure both patient and provider safety and accessibility.

In this role you will be responsible for Tia's corporate security program. Within Tia's corporate security program you will own security operations, incident response and management, identity and access management and device security.

You will be responsible for the technical leadership, hands-on implementation and maintenance of security operations at Tia.

About You:

• You have 5+ years of information security experience

• You have robust knowledge of the security threats and risks and the processes used to quantify them

• You are able to distill complex security topics to stakeholders who may not be familiar with the security landscape

• You have significant experience working with EDR and XDR tools

• You have experience developing alerts, processes and automation for security threats

• You have a good understanding of security incident response tools and processes and how to use them to develop a culture of security awareness

• You have experience managing the security of MacOS and iPadOS devices

• You have experience developing, maintaining and implementing identity and access management processes and tools

• Your enjoy collaborating with external teams and stakeholders, their success is your success

• You're passionate about building automated tasks to help efficiency

• You don't dwell on mistakes, you own them and use them as opportunities to to learn and grow from

• You are an active voice and listener in a small but focused security team

• No matter how large, small, complex, or mundane the task, you follow through to the best of your ability and persevere through challenges

What You'll Do:

• Own, implement and manage device and workforce information security programs

• Own, implement and manage identity and access management

• Own, implement and manage our security incident management processes

• Help build our security monitoring infrastructure across our platform

• Be a champion of security to stakeholders, team members and outside vendors
