Brief Description:
The Cybersecurity Engineer will provide continuous monitoring of the live cyber environments and Ability to demonstrate an advanced understanding of agile and DevSecOps methodologies. Experience with running red team/blue team security games and analysis. Understanding of live monitoring of the cyber environment for potential attacks, vulnerabilities, and log analysis. Development of cybersecurity architecture with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving requirements. Creating and maintaining
documentation for implementations.
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex tasks.
- Tasks may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
- Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
- Contributes to deliverables and perform metrics where applicable.
Required Skills:
- Experienced in software and security testing, especially with containerized applications. Understanding of physical security threats and countermeasures. Strong "security first" mindset.
- Responsible for safeguarding information systems assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
- Demonstrated Knowledge to perform Continuous monitoring of live cyber environments for potential attacks, vulnerabilities, and log analysis.
- Demonstrated Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing and implementing security into infrastructure, platforms, and software.
- Ability to perform the development of cybersecurity architecture with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving requirements.
- Responsible to maintain and improve a platform Authority to Operate (ATO) in cloud environments and have hands-on experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) security assessments.
- Specific knowledge of NIST RMF 800-53 controls.
- Demonstrated cybersecurity experience with Linux operating systems.
