Are you a well versed Infrastructure and Security Engineer?
I have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join a reputable financial services governance organisation. You will provide 2nd and 3rd line support across the internal infrastructure and Security services. This role will be responsible for the implementation, administration and security of the internal infrastructure estate covering on premise and Cloud Servers, Network and FSCS Azure Infrastructure Services. Starting ASAP, Paying up to £75,000 per annum.

- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for all On Premise and Cloud infrastructure and Security services.
- Implement and maintain Cloud and on-prem Server, Network and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain technical Security solutions and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Implement and maintain Cloud and on-prem storage solutions.
- Implement and maintain On Premise VMware Infrastructure .
- Implement and maintain Office365 administration in a hybrid infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain Backup and IT Disaster Recovery plan, ensuring that all systems are backed up in accordance with the set backup procedures and Integrity of backups and IT Disaster Recovery plans are maintained
- Implement and maintain system management tools and processes to proactively monitor IT Infrastructure & Security and maintain efficient operation
- Monitor & maintain capacity and demand of IT infrastructure across servers, network, storage and Cloud
- Proactively identify information security deficiencies or opportunities for improvement and facilitate development of pragmatic solutions.
- Provide technical support and diagnose issues to resolve Infrastructure and Security related problems, provide technical expertise throughout associated recoveries.
- Minimum of 4 years of related IT Infrastructure and cyber security experience within Financial Services or similar regulated organisation
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Cisco Certified: CCNA
- Strong knowledge of Azure and on-prem Server & network implementation and management
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Network Technologies, including Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Identity Services Engine and Intrusion prevention systems
- Strong knowledge of Server Technologies Including Microsoft Windows 16/19 OS, VMWare, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange on premise, Exchange Online, IIS, DFS and Enterprise CA
- Strong Knowledge of Remote Access solution (e.g. Cisco VPN, Pulse networks, Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Multi factor Authentication)
- Knowledge of cloud solution, network, server, desktop and their security components e.g. Azure Security centre, Azure WAF, Azure DDoS, Windows Server, Windows 10, Office 365, web filter, Endpoint Protection, SIEM, OWASP, Group Policy, Conditional Access
- Knowledge of Server based hardware (e.g. Dell, HP)
- Knowledge of Backup Solution (e.g. Veritas Backup Exec, Azure Backup)
- Understanding of information security concepts such as security architecture and design, Information security standards and technical security risk assessment.
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity, CIS Controls).
