Job description
Experience with design concepts and security architecture is required for this position. In this position you will perform network and host-based security risk assessments and implement and maintain security-related tools.
This role will report to the Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering & Architecture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure, manage, and maintain a company-wide used privileged account management platform with the focus of becoming a subject matter expert in this area.
- Configure, manage, and maintain a vulnerability scanning platform environment.
- Help to maintain a complex environment of next generation firewalls
- Help to maintain remote access tools used by internal employees and third parties for secure remote connections.
- Assist with configuring and maintaining other security tools such as cloud security configuration management tools and IDS/IPS sensors.
- Assist with responding to internal team tickets.
- Create technical and procedural documentation.
- Participate in a 24x7 rotation with other members of the team.
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution or compensating experience.
- Strong knowledge of Information Security concepts
- Knowledge of computer Networking principles
- Industry recognized security certifications preferred
- Minimum 1 year of technical experience
- Experience in network and systems security desired
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems both as a team and independently by critical and outside the box thinking
- Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills
- Ability to meet targeted deadlines with minimal supervision
- Level is dependent on experience
