Cyber Security- This is a contract role for 6 months.

The Cyber Security GRC Analyst will promote a strong cyber security culture across the organization and strengthen our defensive capabilities to protect our systems, data, and continued business operations from cyber-attacks. They play an integral role in protecting our organization against external and internal threats to maintain running our business operations.
Key responsibilities.
- Perform focused cyber risk assessments of existing or new services and technologies, along with business stakeholders
- Conveys risk assessment findings to team owners and custodians of cyber risk owners and the cyber security team
- Provide consultative advice to the cyber security team to enable them to suggest informed risk management decisions
- Identify and facilitate implementation of appropriate controls to effectively manage cyber risks as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve risk posture, develop solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assess the residual risk
- Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and groups involved in managing cyber security risks across the organization
- Act as a trusted advisor across the business to help shape the cyber security governance, risk, and control requirements
- Collaborative working with business stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to identify and assess the severity and potential impact of risks. Communicate risk assessment findings to risk owners outside the cybersecurity team in a way that consistently drives objective, fact-based decisions about the risk that optimize the trade-off between risk mitigation and business performance
- An ability to apply original and innovative thinking to produce new ideas
An understanding of business needs and dedication to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business
An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviours
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of work experience in information security, especially in a cyber security risk analysis role would be an added advantage
- Security certifications such as CISSP would be an added advantage
