Job description
As the Chief Caffeine Connoisseur, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and ensuring that every customer leaves Northern Perk feeling satisfied and energized. You'll be the friendly face of our coffee shop, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and promotes our company's mission of bringing people together over great coffee.
Compensation:$16 hourly + tips
Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure that all equipment is properly sanitized
- Greet customers, take orders, and process transactions in a timely and efficient manner
- Offer menu suggestions and answer customer questions about our products
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Clean as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Uphold Northern Perk's high standards for customer service and product quality
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different roasts, blends, and brewing methods
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills, including strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required
