Job description
As the first point of contact by telephone, in person or by email you will be kept busy dealing with enquiries and supporting the running of the Information Office.
You will work alongside a small team committed to providing a quality, customer focussed information, booking and event promotion service from Bank House. You will also support projects and the administration of the Town Council’s Allotments and Cemeteries ensuring that processes are followed.
1. To act as a first point of contact for callers to the office either in person, by email or telephone and to deal with and record enquiries or issues as appropriate.
2. To process sales of National Express tickets, Box Office, and saleable items keeping relevant records as necessary.
3. To deal with enquiries, take bookings and liaise with the Town Hall Caretaker, Buildings and Asset Manager and Sports and Leisure Facilities Manager in relation to booking and hire of town council buildings.
