We are looking for a diligent and hard-working Information Access Assistant to join our busy Information Access Team which sits within the Information Management Branch
This role has the potential to be an Agile role, which would mean that the working hours could have some flexibility, to allow a good home/work/life balance, and there could be an element of home working each week. Days spent in the Office will be at our new office premises in Unit A at the Central Park Complex.
The Information Access Team has responsibility for meeting the Chief Constable’s obligations under the GDPR and Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts so to perform this role, applicants will need a good awareness of GDPR and the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts, as well as a good awareness of Information Security and the principles of records management.
You will have good experience in the use of computer systems, standard software packages and the use of spreadsheets and databases.
You should have the ability to work on a number of time sensitive tasks simultaneously and manage a broad and divergent workload as well as having the ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly.
Experience of handling inbound calls would also be beneficial.
