Salary: £35,411 - £39,493

About the role:
The Senior Workforce Information Analyst will be responsible for leading the transformation primarily of our workforce data. The role is a three-year fixed term role that will ensure the continuous transformation of data that ensures integration with other sources and enriches our insight and actionable intelligence to inform key strategic initiatives and stakeholders in a wide variety of areas. You’ll be given the opportunity to mentor and influence direction on many initiatives that require data and supporting sustainable transformation.
You’ll be part of intuitive change initiative that will support our key priorities and driving evidence-based decision making with data at the heart of it. This will be achieved through informing several key workstreams that Northumberland County Council have identified as ‘BEST Working’ that drive the highest priorities corporately.

You’ll work within the Transformation and Resources section and work closely with our Human Resources / Organisational Development areas and BEST Project Delivery Team. You will utilise and engineer data to deliver a comprehensive variety of primarily workforce data at high-quality standards that open new opportunities by ensuring data interoperability and supporting a variety of engaging visualisations for Northumberland County Council.

You’re able to demonstrate your passion for data and understand key components of data, business intelligence, governance, insight and data analytics that will drive actionable insight to key areas of the organisation.
You are someone who cares about building great teams and who wants to see others succeed.
You are comfortable working with a team and individually to solve challenges that ultimately allow us to progress and enhance new and existing approaches and strategies. The work will improve how we work with data across the data lifecycle.
Your role will be a key part of developing areas of data that uphold new corporate data standards that contribute to our developing Business Intelligence and Data Strategy for Northumberland.
