We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the airline’s most visible departments, working with globally world-class suppliers to influence the onboard experience of our customers! From airline caterers overseas to providers of custom tableware and bedding in the UK, you'll be the main point of contact for commercial discussions within your portfolio.
Whether relating to a new product launch, a contract tender, or change to an existing contract, you will work closely with the Hospitality, Product and Catering Operations teams to understand the scope of services and influence the commercial outcomes.
Other duties include:
- Owning the creation and governance of business cases for new investment spend
- Using data analysis to provide insights and drive decision making across the department
- Updating and managing a commercial roadmap to facilitate the prioritisation of activity across the department
- Being the primary POC for Finance and Procurement partners on commercial matters
- Driving continuous improvement in contract governance processes
You have strong commercial and project management skills, with proven experience of using analysis to assist decision making. Previous experience in a travel or hospitality environment would be advantageous. The successful candidate will gain exposure across the airline and our Onboard Experience department, offering career development and progression in a hugely exciting and critical part of British Airways!
