General Summary
Under general direction, supervises children to promote their physical, cognitive and social development. Responsible for leading on-floor programming for children and assures on-going, age-appropriate activities and development of children and implementation by all staff. Leads implementation of curriculum for the teaching team. Works with staff and families to assess the development of each child to identify the goals and needs of each child. Ensures a safe environment for all children at all times. Mentors teaching staff on all aspects of P-3 Alignment.

The following additional qualifications are required: CPR/ First Aid certification, Mandated Reporter Training, and Anti-harassment Training. Master Teacher permit required within 1 year of hire.
Education and Experience
Demonstrate significant knowledge of child care programs and licensing requirements as would be obtained through the attainment of an Associate's Degree in Child Development or a related field. Five or more years teaching experience and one or more years of curriculum and program development experience is preferred. Must obtain Master Teacher child development permit within first year of holding the position
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time
Status: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $23-$33/hr
PACCC offers a excellent benefits program for all regular staff working 20+ hours per week.

- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Must be vaccinated for measles and pertussis; must obtain annual flu vaccine or provide a signed declination form; must be tested for TB upon hire.
- Must complete a pre-employment physical.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- teaching in a child care setting: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Child Development Master Teacher Permit (Preferred)
- 12 ECE or CD semester units, including Infant Development (Required)
