Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Check load sheet for first priority loading
- Get quilted panels for truck selected and place on load cart.
- Get gusset’s and place onto load cart.
- Inspection and repair of quilted panels.
- Sort panel border
- Sort and Stage product for Matt build
- Scan all lawtages
- Activate machine and sew panels
- As required; add thread, replace needles, oil machine, fix thread break
- Observe stitching to detect defects and repair accordingly and check panels before and after sewing for flaws in materials and stitching.
- Notify Production Supervisor when defects are caused by machine malfunction
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Place cart into finished goods holding area for department
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Functional/Technical Competencies
Experience/Education
Ability to read, write and understand English
Basic Math skills are required
Production line experience helpful, but not required
Attention to detail is a must.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, repetitively in a safe manner
Able to perform continuous physical exertion including lifting, bending, loading.
