Job description
About the role:
You will be experienced in completed safety and support plans, making onwards referrals, and providing advice to clients around their rights around a range of subjects including housing, criminal justice, and civil interventions.
You will be joining a passionate and motivated team working across Community and Helpline services, where we value democratic working, mutual respect and constructively challenging each other, as well as the status quo. We’re not focused on hierarchy, but rather we value you and your skills, knowledge, and expertise. If this appeals to you, and you’re keen to put those values into practice as part of our team, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll find your colleagues at THW to be passionate and driven by a shared ambition to centre women and children in decision-making. We want someone who is equally as passionate about our cause. We’re not looking for perfection, we want congruence, creativity, and accountability. If that’s you, take a look at the JD and Person Spec to find out more. Hopefully, we’ll be reading your application to join us soon.
Please note, we will be holding interviews on a rolling basis. Due to the current fast-paced nature of recruitment in the sector, we advise you submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Benefits of working at THW:
- A supportive, collaborative environment where there is always room for growth and development.
- Health Cash Plan and Employee Assistance Programme
- Flexibility to help you manage the demands of life and to support a healthy work-life balance.
- Generous leave entitlement; 27 days basic leave plus bank holidays and additional concessionary days
- Salary exchange opportunities
Due to the nature of our work Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 applies, therefore only applications from women will be considered. All posts are subject to Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Haven Wolverhampton is an equal opportunities employer.
