As part of the inclusion team, the Inclusion Manager is responsible for supporting the Inclusion Lead in developing resources/ support/guidance aligned to PwC people processes to support the implementation of inclusion action plan and priorities. Provide support to LoS People Directors and People Consultants and People Teams with the implementation of fit-for-purpose solutions, across all aspects of diversity, to address business specific I&D challenges, ensuring alignment of solutions and drive knowledge sharing across LoS HC teams.

Reporting to the Inclusion Lead, the Inclusion Manager is responsible for working with People Directors and People Teams to implement inclusion priority initiatives,to ensure inclusion is embedded in all people processes.

Key aspects of this role will include:

  • Working with the Inclusion Lead to build strong relationships with the business, through provision of expert advice, guidance and support so ensuring I&D is positioned as a business priority and that actions deliver impact.

  • Collaborating with business People Consultants and other People teams to drive LoS and firmwide D&I priorities at key stages of the employment lifecycle (eg recruitment, performance, reward and promotion reviews, talent reviews, recruitment and onboarding)

  • Collaborating with team members in the Inclusion, Culture and Wellbeing team to bring the value of the combined team to the business

  • Ownership and leadership of specific inclusion activities and projects that support the inclusion actions and deliver on the priority areas. Examples include but are not limited to:

    • Leading assigned projects to gain insights of the experiences of specific communities in PwC. Using these insights to inform, develop and implement actions

    • Managing Everyday Inclusion and the inclusion communication strategy and plans. Identifying and planning communication needs,

    • Developing content and delivering upskilling workshops to People Teams on topics across the I&D agenda and in support of the inclusion action plan and priority focus areas

    • Supporting the Staff Diversity Council Chair with all aspects of the management of the Council and it’s quarterly meetings.

    • Responsibility for inclusion content on the firm’s website, bid hub and I&D communication channels ensuring it is accurate, up to date and reflective of all aspects of the inclusion strategy and priorities.

    • Writing diversity benchmarking and award submissions and sourcing nominations for external diversity recognition lists. Responding to I&D information requests from client teams to support client bids.

    • Representing PwC at selected external events/organisations, acquiring expertise and market intelligence to inform internal agenda and developing internal advisory capacity

Requirements

  • Experience of supporting and delivering impactful inclusion actions in a business

  • Highly energised and motivated to effect change and influence the Firm’s approach to Inclusion & Diversity

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills ideally in a consulting background (whether internal or external) with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and work to deadlines

  • Goal orientated – maintain focus on agreed objectives and deliverables

  • Commercially orientated – keep commercial aspects continually in mind when taking actions or making decisions

  • Able to stay informed on breadth of I&D activity, making appropriate connections and assimilate complex data and information objectively to inform recommendations

  • Innovative and creative in approaching new challenges

  • Effectively collaborating with and influencing others to enable delivery

  • Communicate confidently and effectively at all levels

  • Team management experience with a proven ability to lead, inspire, develop and champion others to deliver consistently effective results
