Job description
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual who has an interest in working in Primary Education (ages 3-11yrs). We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils within our vision to ‘learn and grow together to be the best that we can be’.
Working week
Monday to Friday term time only
Daily hours to be confirmed
30 hours per week total
Qualification
Teaching Assistant level 3
Duration
16 months
JOB ROLE/SPEC.
- Be able to communicate effectively with young people.
- Work well within a team.
- Have an understanding and commitment in delivering the National Curriculum.
- Be able to demonstrate evidence of subject knowledge and expertise within maths and English
- Show an understanding for skill progression.
- Confidence and competence to lead small groups of children during lessons, in small groups and at break and lunchtimes.
- Support positive behaviour within lessons and throughout school.
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of good primary practice.
- Ability to critically self-evaluate practices as a tool for improvement.
- Be able to demonstrate good organizational skills.
- Show a good level of computer/technology literacy.
- Promote the welfare of children and to follow the Child Protection Procedures adopted in the our Safeguarding Policy.

Maths and English at GCSE grade A-C (4-9)
