This role requires you to have your own transport
We are looking for tutors mainly in English and Math but are open for other subjects. Experience is preferred but not essential as training can be given. Own transport is required! The role includes going to students houses and giving them a one to one session.
Areas can go from Littlehampton to Brighton, but we will work with you to find students in your preferred areas. Currently Lancing, Worthing and Shoreham are high in need.

Our students are a mix of primary and secondary school age with most sitting their GCSE’s soon. We are looking for tutors who hope to have a passion for their subject and the desire to help children excel in their studies.
As a private tutor you will be responsible for planning high quality sessions to individual students, (we always work 1:1 to ensure the student gets the attention they deserve.) You will need to assess the students progress, find their weak points to improve on and provide feedback on their progress regularly. Lesson plans will need to be created, but at the beginning we are able to assist you with this.
This is a self-employed role, you will be paid weekly for the hours you have been done and hourly rate is reflected on the experience.
Responsibilities
- Able to create engaging presentations, work books etc
- To deliver these to students
- Assist in new learning activities
- Help students grow
- Create lesson plans
- Provide feedback
- Ensure you are meeting the criteria
- Adhere to safeguarding, data privacy, whistleblowing and out helping hand policies and procedures
- Always use appropriate language and behavior with students

Qualifications
- GCSE’s in your chosen subjects
- A-levels or a Degree preferred but not essential
Desirable
- Experience teaching
- Familiar with google docs/ slides, Microsoft and Zoom (training can be given)
- Know the syllabus
