Are you an experienced In House Project Manager working on business change, transformation or IT systems projects?
Here at SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK we have an exciting opportunity for an In House Project Manager based from our Head Office in Maidenhead.
In return we offer a basic salary of £61,480 plus Car/Allowance ( = £8,918.40) plus Bonus ( up to 20% = £12,296 ) Healthcare, Pension = Total Package up to £82,694.40
What will I be doing as Project Manager?
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects through the whole project lifecycle, from the initial concept stage through to implementation, closure and post-project review.
Managing projects through the defined project lifecycle and governance processes
Working with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope and critical success factors
Supporting the creation of the business case and management of project budgets
Developing project schedules, with clear milestones and critical path
Taking responsibility for successful delivery of projects within agreed time, cost, scope and quality parameters to enable the delivery of the defined benefits
Day to day management of project resources across multiple functions
Ensuring effective controls are in place on projects – e.g. risk and issue management, change control, reporting, etc
Implementation and handover to BAU functions, prior to project closure and post project review activities
What are the requirements? (skills, experience & qualifications)
Substantial project management experience gained in complex business environments
Successful project delivery using a variety of different approaches – e.g. waterfall, agile - and flexibility in their approach to delivery
Ability to deliver projects requiring significant business change
Working effectively in a fast moving, uncertain environment
Experienced at communicating effectively with senior stakeholders across the full range of business and technology functions including Executive level
Attention to detail and the ability to analyse and resolve complex, multi-faceted issues in a timely and effective manner
Prince2 or APM practitioner level certification, or an equivalent qualification, is essential
You will be collaborative by nature, with a natural ability to see the bigger picture and be driven by making evidence-based decisions.
