We are seeking an ambitious and detail oriented Image Retoucher with an interest in fashion e-commerce retouching and photography to join our creative team at our HQ in Glasgow.
Responsibilities
You will have experience in retouching a variety of image styles, you will use your skills to ensure our e-commerce imagery is eye-catching, attractive and best in class.
Working within the E-comm and Graphics team you will be responsible for retouching and colour correcting product, model and campaign imagery for use across all of our platforms.
You will have excellent retouching skills and have the ability to re-size, crop, edit, colour correct and maintain consistency across all our imagery to ensure they are of the highest standards.
You will establish a close relationship with our production team based in LA to ensure retouching priorities are communicated effectively.
You will also work closely with the team to assist in the selection of images from photo shoots.
You will be proficient in Photoshop, CC such as: skin retouching, colour adjustments, working across multiple layers, using adjustment layers, cloning, masking, liquifying effectively and ideally the use of actions amongst other skills to create realistic, professional imagery.- You have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, within a fast paced Ecomm environment.
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a very busy team in a deadline driven, fast paced environment.
- A good understanding of photographic processes and lighting techniques. This will help with looking out for details in the image selection process.
- A passion for retouching.
- Experience in skin retouching essential.
- Be flexible to changing schedules and tasks, whilst maintaining excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Experience working with on-body imagery.
- A knowledge of fashion and competitor awareness.
- A positive and proactive approach.
Role Accountabilities:
- Checks images to ensure that guidelines are adhered to.
- Ensures all imagery is sized correctly to support correct delivery.
- Works with creative team advise on the most effective way of achieving required results.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Extensive skin, hair & garment retouching experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Capture One Software.
- Knowledgeable about color, color space and RGB conversions.
- Knowledge of digital photography would be an advantage
- Experience working with artificial lighting (Profoto/Bowens)
- Experience of assisting with studio operations and ecommerce photoshoot
