Role Summary:The Image Manager role sits in our Creative Team, reporting into our Lead Creative and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all post-production image requirements both from the Ecommerce Studio and Location shoots as well as picture editing and image sourcing. This role works cross functionally with internal and external partners and requires a highly organised individual with good communication skills. The ideal person for this role is also able to take the initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
The image Manager's responsibilities cover two key area of Creative at hush:
1] In-house Image Production
- Ecommerce Studio
- Managing workflow of image selects with 3rd party post-production agency (jpegs and CR2 files).
- Using an image database system to approve some retouching of ecomm images (check pixel work, creases, loose threads etc).
- Cropping ecomm imagery for use on website PDPs.
- Ensure all image assets are delivered to deadline.
- Coordinating image files and hard drives to and from photoshoots.
- Location Shoots
- Ensure art directors and photographers understand asset delivery dates, asset requirements and final selects approval and post-production process.
- Send approved high-res imagery to post-production agency for cataloguing on the image database.
- Ensure all image assets are delivered to deadline.

- Still-Life Studio (SIC)
- Ensure creative guidelines are up-to-date and socialized with 3rd party suppliers.
- Image file management and creative governance; use the image database to approve the flat lays and ensure ‘on brand’ and to technical spec.
- Ensure all image assets are delivered to deadline.
2] Image Sourcing and Picture Editing
- Source non-brand created images as required.
- Negotiate rights and fees and manage image usage to ensure hush is within its contractual obligation.
- Build relationships with picture agencies.
The Person:
- Some prior experience working on a picture desk, within a production or creative team, or in a photography studio is required.
- Solid understanding of the post-production image process is required.
- Technical knowledge and experience using image file management systems is required.
- Experience using basic creative tools for cropping and approvals e.g. Indesign and Photoshop is required.
- Knowledge of picture agencies and usage agreements desirable, but not essential.
- A self-starter who is solutions-focused and can take the initiative.
- As comfortable working in collaborative team environments as you are working independently.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment and comfortable with the ambiguity and ever-changing nature of shoot schedules.
