Our client is a well-established Financial Services business based in the East Midlands. The company seek an IFA Administrator to join the firm, where you will get a competitive salary, employee benefits and the opportunity to further develop your career within the Financial Planning industry.
Responsibilities:
Provide client valuations on request.
Export IT data from one system to another and assist with mail merges.
Take individual projects from consultants and work independently on them.
General filing and post duties.
Maintain accurate client information on the system (Back Office system and websites).
Produce correspondence to clients in an efficient and professional manner.
New business process – online submissions.
Liaise with consultant and paraplanners and provide administrative support for their roles.
Reception duties – answering calls.
Maintain a full and efficient diary system whilst monitor own workflow and prioritisation of outstanding work.
Fully and accurately recording telephone conversations and maintain spreadsheet records.
Administration duties e.g. photocopying, post, maintain paper and electronic filing systems
Maintain an understanding of current financial planning legislation.
Ensure compliance with HMRC, legislative and internal procedures as well as FCA regulations, Anti Money Laundering requirements, TCF and Data Protection issues.
Communicating with clients, financial advisors, solicitors, accountants, H M Revenue & Customs, fund managers, insurance companies and other professional connections by letter, telephone, e-mail and fax.
About you:
2 years’ experience industry Financial Planning
Good personal organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
Proactive, enthusiastic, driven.
Analytical with good attention to detail.
Works well under pressure.
Good communication skills.
