One of the most essential departments in any organisation is its ICT service, virtually every member of staff and student uses IT every day for their work. We are seeking an ICT Technician to join our growing team. We work throughout the school supporting both staff and students with their ICT requirements and ensure the schools virtual and physical ICT security systems.
Working as an integral part of a small and important team, we are looking for a dynamic and focused individual who can make an impact. Training and further development is always available and encouraged. Over the past 3 years we have been on a mission, upgrading the whole school’s infrastructure from top to bottom, introducing new broadband, Cisco Meraki network, hardware, software, cyber security, anti-virus and much more. As a team we don’t stand still, always keeping an eye on technology and what can better our school and systems. All of our classrooms have new interactive boards, new computers and top of the range Meraki Wi-Fi.
We take staff wellbeing seriously and can offer you many staff benefits including a Friday staff Breakfast (and onsite gym to help work them off!), a positive work atmosphere and a supportive environment to develop. We also pride ourselves on being a team, all staff are involved with supporting our students whilst onsite and we encourage all staff to enjoy the many activities and clubs we have on offer for both staff (Badminton, football and Dungeons and dragons amongst others) and students (DofE, Moseley Plus, Police Cadets amongst others). We have new smart screen boards in every classroom, an extensive whole school CPD program to ensure you can develop in your career and teach your best lessons.
Moseley School and Sixth Form is a large comprehensive secondary school with a thriving sixth form. Moseley School first opened its doors in 1923. We value our long history whilst being excited about our future. There are 1550 students, 175 teaching and support staff, excellent facilities housed in a grade two listed building, a modern building which opened in 2013 and sports complex and extensive grounds. Staff enjoy subsidised access to our on-site gym.
