ICT Officer
Grade 7 (£34,308 to £42,155 pa)
Full Time (35 hours per week)
Contract- permanent
Brasenose College seeks to appoint a full-time ICT Officer on a permanent contract. This is a senior role suitable for candidates with at least 4 years of experience in providing end user support and system administration for small to medium sized organisations. Candidates should have experience of developing data management systems and providing infrastructure support to ensure smooth running and disaster recovery. Experience of Sharepoint, portals, Flow and bespoke data solutions is essential, as well as Active Directory, DNS, SQL, DHCP, Group Policy admin and Powershell in a varied user environment.
The ICT Officer will provide ICT support for staff, students and visitors to the College, demonstrating excellent customer service skills, with clear explanations and a helpful, professional manner. The role will require an ability to problem solve and learn new systems quickly. Excellent team working skills will be key, as the team will support compliance with the College’s ICT security strategy and play an important role in identifying and implementing improvements.
The appointment, which is pensionable, will be made on the University Grade 7 scale (£34,308 to £42,155pa), depending on previous related experience.
