Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and make ice cream according to established recipes and standards
- Operate ice cream making equipment and machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with bussing and cleaning tables as needed
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe quantities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and transactions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
Note: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
