Hygiene Operative - Bakkavor Desserts Highbridge
- £10.30 per hour
- Days 6am to 6pm / Nights 6pm to 6am
- Shift Pattern 4on 4off
Permanent role direct with Bakkavor Desserts Highbridge from day one, with excellent development opportunities to move into Skilled roles, Multi Skilled and Section Leader roles.

Our Bakkavor site in Highbridge, which is one of our four Desserts sites specialises in Cheesecakes and Tarts, working closely with our sister site in Devizes that specialise in baked goods.
About the role
As we provide outstanding service to our customers, we are looking to recruit a number of Hygiene Operatives to come and join us and become a part of our successful team.
The typical day of a Hygiene Operative involves working in a small team or on your own following a clear cleaning schedule for our production lines, whether that be a full deep clean with chemicals and taking equipment apart or routine regular cleans. The role will require you to record completion of cleaning activities and ensure due diligence.
You will have previous hygiene experience, understand or be willing to learn the principles and application of Food Safety, have a proactive approach to Food Safety, be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment and working in a factory environment with cleaning chemicals
