- £12.43 per hour
- 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, 06:00 - 18:00/18:00 - 06:00

Bakkavor Bread site based in Crewe, Cheshire makes chilled speciality bread such as sliced baguettes, hand-crafted flatbreads and dough balls. The site employs over 375 people in the factory and over 50 in its Distribution Centre. The site is located approximately 4 miles from Crewe town centre.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Maintaining standards of hygiene, quality and product safety within the designated area in order to meet the customer service standards and maintain product integrity
- To follow agreed controls for safe working practices in relation to personnel, product, processes and/or raw materials, identifying risks and taking the appropriate actions to ensure a safe working environment
- Handling chemicals once trained
We are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a food manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of the importance of hygiene, GMP and health and safety in a production environment
- To be self-disciplined, motivated and able to work on own initiative when necessary
- Good communication skills - able to understand and follow instructions to carry out daily tasks
- Able to work at pace and follow procedures
- Flexible approach to work
