Hygiene and Safety Manager - Exclusive - Thame – Hospitality - Permanent
Oliver Sanderson have been appointed as the exclusive search firm to recruit this amazing Hygiene and Safety Manager role, working for one of the leading Hospitality businesses in the UK.
Reporting into one of the Managing Director, the Hygiene and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and providing expert Food and Safety and Health and Safety advice. As well as ensuring compliance with food, health, and safety requirements.
This will be a hybrid role with a minimum requirement of 2-3 days a week onsite with some travel to the office when required.
Key areas of focus:
- Ensure that the company meets its statutory obligations to comply with food safety and health & safety requirements.
- Assist the company to meet its business objectives of organic business growth, business retention, and business protection.
- Develop operating policies and procedures and continually update the Policy Manuals to enable operations management to meet statutory and client requirements.
- Carry out audits as and when required on company sites.
- Compile an Annual Report that is continually updated and presented to each Company Board Meeting for information and approval.
- To interpret new legislation and advise on the most cost effective and efficient method of implementation.
- Maintain copies of legislation, technical publications, and other records pertinent to the business.
- Liaise with the EHO or other enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Develop and update Environmental Management Systems and maintain certifications.
