We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive experience working as an PA/Administrator/Team Support, to support with Triage New Firm Authorisation (NFA) and Variation of Permission (VoP) applications in the Credit Intermediaries portfolio in Authorisations. We are seeking an individual with strong organisational skills, who can work towards tight deadlines managing a shared inbox, and provide admin/secretarial support to the team.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out an initial assessment of applications submitted to determine how applications will be handled, including contacting firms for further information when outstanding information is identified;
- Categorise applications based on the level of assurance/effort required to ensure that the right people do the right work;
- Prioritise applications that can be assessed to ensure that both the work in progress (WIP) and 4 case teams function effectively;
- Respond to firm queries when these arise;
- Reject applications where the minimum information needed to form an application has not been submitted; and
- Organise and coordinate meetings, calls and events for all teams
Skills Required
- Able to provide full secretarial/administrative support to a high standard.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) applications and fully proficiency in use of Outlook.
- Evidence of working in a deadline driven environment, driving tasks through to completion.
- Ability to work as part of a team with a positive and self-motivated approach to work.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to develop effective relationships with people at all levels, both internally and
- externally, face to face and over the phone.
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills including the ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility to deliver effective outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to show pragmatism when solving problems.
- Fast learner with ability to act on own initiative to develop knowledge.
