HV Electrical Engineer - Ninfield

Once you have the necessary safety authorisations in place you’ll progress to becoming a Substation Engineer in our Sussex team. You’ll lead on various projects within high voltage electricity substations, supervising team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to ensure completion of maintenance, refurbishment or replacement works on a variety of plant and equipment including circuit breakers, transformers and protection systems.
Your development and training will continue, you will be surrounded by a fantastic team of experienced and professional Engineers that will support your development and progression every step of the way, with the aim of becoming a Commissioning Engineer, and eventually an Advanced Commissioning Engineer.
What are the requirements?
Your minimum qualification is a Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. You are experienced with HV plant and equipment and technically proficient in power systems theory; our tailored training programmes will be adapted to suit your level of experience. Substation experience would be desirable but not essential. You have a driving licence that permits you to drive in the UK and available for standby rota providing reactive call outs.
Pay and Benefits
- £47,100 to £54,859 pa + Excellent Benefits + Paid Overtime + Standby Allowance + Company car.
- 37 Hours per week Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm.
