About the role
Our People team are responsible for activating our unique philosophy and values to deliver a truly Dyson people experience. Our HR experts work across the employee lifecycle to motivate and engage our people, ensuring they perform at the highest level and helping us maintain our competitive edge.
You will rotate through two, 6-month placements supporting one of the key teams such as HR Business Partnering, Reward & Benefits, Talent, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging or Strategy & Transformation. You will gain valuable exposure to the Global HR function as well as the broader business, learning more about the key HR processes, methodologies, relevant legislation and systems.
You will be supporting HRBPs in the planning and implementation of organisation changes, HR projects and initiatives that support the Dyson People strategy/local plans including graduate recruitment, talent identification and management, management capability development, personal development/career planning. You will also review data and produce reports for key employee metrics (eg turnover, headcount, absence) identifying, investigating and flagging possible issues/trends and supporting HRBPs in identifying activities to resolve them. You will also support the development and implementation of strategies and global initiatives related to Reward & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Diversity Inclusion and Belonging. You will provide project and change management support to enable the successful implementation of global and local People function initiatives.
Working with the team and interacting across business stakeholders, you’ll be comfortable learning from others but also sharing your own knowledge, ideas and opinions.
For the duration of your internship, you will have regular performance conversations as well as opportunities for development to enable you to build your reputation within the wider team and we’ll be looking to offer our high performing interns the opportunity to return on our graduate programme.

About you
You will be contributing to the delivery of the next generation of Dyson technology, so you will need to be:
Studying towards a degree in any discipline in any business subject area and be able to demonstrate your commercial acumen and understanding of Human Resources.
Be in your penultimate year of your undergraduate or combined masters degree programme (exceptions allowed for 5 year programmes with a placement in the third year).
Able to evidence how you have applied your knowledge to solve problems, either through your university projects or as part of your extra-curricular activities
Happy to build your own networks to learn from the technical expertise around you.
Creative problem solver with the ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment.
Passionate about Dyson and our technology to help us meet our ambitious future plans.
