You’ll be working alongside the business, enabling the implementation of agreed people plans to improve performance as well as providing operational support. You’ll be working on a number of areas, to include: Resourcing, Diversity and Inclusion, Wellbeing, Workforce Planning and organisational/change management.

Pay, benefits and culture
We can offer a competitive salary from £31,928 - £39,870 and you’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position, however we will be happy to discuss options regarding flexibility if you would like to highlight this on your application.

What you’ll be doing
As HR Partner, your main roles and responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring organisational design and development plans and interventions are executed
- Supporting internal HR and ER activity onsite such as Local Joint Councils and subgroups
- Working with the HR team and management within the business to ensure that diversity and inclusion plans are executed in line with our nuclear fleet/Station business plans
- Monitoring local completion statistics (for Performance Management, Appraisals, Wellbeing discussions etc.) and taking appropriate action where necessary to ensure compliance
- Producing management information and compliance reports on HR metrics
- Co-ordinating administration of key HR processes such as ad-hoc payroll changes, TOIL and training/retirement courses
- Supporting and co-ordinating ad hoc HR projects.
Who you are
For this role you’ll need an HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject and be a Graduate/Associate member of CIPD minimum standard (or working towards). You should be commercially minded, pragmatic in your application of HR best practice and able to deliver at speed. The ability to effectively plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines is essential, as is the willingness to work flexibly.
Advanced working knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel and ideally SAP is important, alongside confidence working with large data sets, pivot tables and advanced formulae. There is also a requirement to analyse and present data. A confident communicator at all levels of the organisation is paramount. Experience of working in a unionised environment is desirable but not essential.
