It is an exciting time at the Trust as we work towards our new Strategy 2030. We have gone through a period of growth over a number years and now wish to develop our Support Services capability and capacity to better support our staff and volunteer team.
This post will manage the Support Services team, helping the Trust to be a well-run organisation. They will report to the Head of Finance & Support Services who focuses on strategic and operational financial management, audited accounts and IT development as well as overseeing our Support Services and systems. The post-holder will manage a small team and a budget of c.£150,000. The range of activities will be diverse including HR, Equality and Diversity, H&S at work, Asset and Facilities management (including carbon reduction). There will be a good degree of autonomy as the Head of Finance & Support Services is part-time.
We are seeking a self-motivated operations professional, ideally with an HR or H&S qualification and sound experience in managing the back-office and systems for a medium- sized organisation. Due to the nature of our work we are especially keen to hear from people who have experience in managing support services, ensuring adherence to policies & procedures (experience of ISO would be an advantage) and improving the environmental performance of facilities.
