Position: Human Resource Specialist

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Secure risk Management Limited is seeking a Human Resource Specialist to join our team in the Birmingham, West Midlands area. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of duties related to recruiting, employee retention, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and recruitment, as well as knowledge of general office administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire new employees

Screen applicants and interview candidates under BS7858:2019.

Maintain employee database and HR recordsPrepare applications, references, and job applications for new hiresCollect and report on performance metrics for human resources initiatives

Maintain employee database and HR records Prepare benefits packages for new employees including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, etc.

Manage employee benefits enrollment and processing Manage employee 401K plan information including assets, income, retirement options, etc.

Prepare reports for managers on current status of employee benefits and payroll dataCoordinate with outside agencies such as tax preparers, tax preparation services providers, etc. to handle various tax issues such as 401K record changes, federal and state tax changes, etc.Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisorRequired Skills:

·Excellent verbal communication skills (written communication is a plus)
·Strong attention to detail with strong organizational skills
·A self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team with the ability to work with little direction or supervision in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task in a variety of situations with varying priorities. Ability to manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work in a high volume environment with many competing priorities at times. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with good attention to detail. Must be able to manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to follow written instructions without errors

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
