We are currently seeking to appoint a Human Resources Officer. This role will be based at Wingfield Academy, Rotherham, with occasional travel to our Trust Headquarters in Normanton.
As a HR generalist you will provide a comprehensive range of HR support, taking a lead on HR work and employee relations matters for the Academy, whilst being supported by the wider Human Resources Team. You will undertake work in areas such as new starter processes, contracts, maintenance of the HR system and employment relations cases (sickness absence, flexible working requests, performance management etc).
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of being successful in, and significant experience in, complex administrative roles. Previous HR experience is preferred but not essential. You will have high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a willingness to undertake further training relevant to the role and the ability to work flexibly, under pressure balancing changing priorities.
