The opportunity
Project: We are looking for a HR Manager to join our Consult UK & Europe Hub team ideally based in our Birmingham office, however London based candidates will be considered. Reporting to the Lead HR Business Partner for the Hub, the role will manage delivery of the people agenda across UK & Europe business units. The role will act as trusted advisor that understands the business, its priorities, and builds good relationships that provide both support and challenge.

About you
You have a degree qualification or equivalent is Human Resource Management or Business Management and are a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). You have a good understanding of the employee lifecycle, the diverse needs at specific stages, and how to integrate people policies and practices in the delivery of people plans. You have demonstrable experience delivering operational HR activities in the UK and multiple locations across Continental Europe along with setting up new business operations in locations across the UK and Continental Europe, including employment contracts, employee policies and handbooks, and sourcing insurances and benefit in partnership with CoEs.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising and guiding line managers to drive best practice, complex ER case management and delivery of HR calendar activities.
- Creating and delivering people agenda activities, supporting cultural and behavioral change, working with CoEs as appropriate.
- Using data, analytics and best practice understanding to identify and address continuous improvement opportunities.
- Building capability of line managers around casework type themes to improve issue resolution.
- Driving a performance culture through coaching and enforcing policy, procedure and best practice.
- Driving business growth through leading the set-up of new operations across the UK and Europe.
- Driving business performance through HR operational support across locations in the UK and Europe.
- Undertaking project activity, either as part of a wider working group, or delivering project activity within own area of the business.
