Tarsus Group is seeking an HR Manager to work with our senior management team, covering key aspects of both HR administration and internal communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing HR administration mainly across our UK, Dubai and US businesses. You will also assist on the delivery of our internal communications across the whole business.

We offer hybrid work arrangements, with 3 days at our Hammersmith offices and 2 days WFH.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

HR:

  • Provide generalist advice and guidance on HR related matters to employees and line managers, including HR policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievance, performance and absence management and escalating to Head of HR where necessary
  • Provide support to managers to enable them to manage their people effectively.
  • Support staff through the employee lifecycle, overseeing the smooth onboarding of all staff, ensuring they are fast equipped to be effective and add value, and ensuring offboarding is similarly a positive experience for staff.
  • Collate and report HR data and statistics for process improvement and business intelligence
  • Ensure performance management of employees is well structured through probation processes and regular performance reviews.
  • Ad hoc HR project work as required to update/review company policies and procedures and develop company’s HR function in line with company objectives
  • Maintain a diverse and inclusive culture
  • Manage the HRIS
  • Support ESG initiatives and gathering of relevant HR related KPIs in respect of ESG projects

Communication:

  • Internal Communications. Lead on monthly staff newsletters; collating content, building newsletter, managing mailing list and tracking engagement
  • Social Media. Responsible for regular staff update posts e.g. new starters, promotions, fundraising activities
  • Internal Network. Assist in building an internal network of communication champions representing each Tarsus division
  • Collateral. Ensure brand assets such as image banks, logos, social media templates are collated centrally and current
  • Intranet. Take lead responsibility, with input from Communications Director, to review and update current site, relaunch internally and drive staff engagement. Responsible for ongoing maintenance of site

Recruitment

  • Work closely with Recruitment Manager to support processes
  • Mentor and train managers as to how to approach the interview process, ensure that the right process is in place to avoid bias

Learning & Development

  • Assist Head of HR with sourcing of training courses
  • Manage training budget, processing and logging invoices.
  • Monitor training needs identified in the Performance Review process
  • Suggest ongoing improvements and new ideas for the training

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong professional experience in HR essential with interest in Group Communications
  • Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Comfortable with editing and writing for web and social media platforms
  • CIPD would be ideal, although people management experience with a healthy dose of common sense, a thirst to learn and a passion for helping people grow would all be highly valued
