Job description
Position:
Human Resources Manager
Location: London, N4 2DR & home working
Salary: c. £55,000 plus excellent benefits
We are a small but ambitious housing association at a critical juncture. Our ambition is for the communities we are anchored in and exist to serve, and we have done and achieved much over the past few years. But in these challenging times we know we’ll achieve nothing unless we are equally ambitious for own our people.
We are seeking a highly competent, assured human resources professional to work with us to help deliver our strategic people objectives. In your work with us you will help create the conditions for success. Over the last 12 months we've started some long-term, hopefully transformational programmes and we need someone who can continue to successfully develop these, get new projects off the ground, and see them through to completion.
Requirements:
You'll likely be the most senior HR professional in the business [We are currently recruiting a Director of Culture, Communications and Involvement to whom you will report] - supported by an HR Business Partner, an HR Administrator, and an external employment advice/law consultancy. Neither of your direct reports are in post, with our long-standing HR advisor off for promotion elsewhere, so there will be a chance to recruit and shape your own team and service.
It is imperative that you can support, guide and inspire confidence in managers and staff alike. This is a role in which you can have real influence and we'll look to you for ideas and innovation in how we manage and lead our people.
We can’t be a brilliant landlord if we don’t partner with brilliant colleagues. Could you be one of them and be trusted to make the difference?
If this sounds exciting – we need your help. Please do get in touch.
