Ideal Building Systems Ltd is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of off-site constructed modular buildings.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified HR Manager/Advisor to work alongside the management team in our offices at our Bridlington facility.
The successful candidate will provide functional HR processes and will coordinate HR activities and provide guidance to the company and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Support, influence and coach managers on all operational HR matters including absence, discipline, grievance, recruitment, employee engagement, performance and capability to implement HR best practice consistently and to a high standard.
Manage and support all people issues, escalate complex cases to ensure that these are addressed appropriately and in accordance with guidelines and legislation.
Develop and review HR policies, processes and guidance in line with legislation, terms and conditions of service and best practice.
Support the H&S Manager in the management of occupational health referrals with external provider and support on adjustments.
Maintenance of personnel files and assistance in managing the training and qualifications matrix, ensuring all employees training and qualifications are kept up to date.
Adhere to all GDPR requirements and always uphold confidentiality.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment with colleagues across all functions and ensure employee relations issues are addressed effectively, empathetically and in a timely manner.
Carrying out ad hoc generalist HR work.
Person Specification
CIPD qualified or equivalent and evidence of continuous professional development.
Minimum 2 years HR experience with a proven generalist background.
Considerable knowledge of UK employment legislation.
Excellent interpersonal skills; written and verbal communication.
A strong team player.
Desirable
Occupational health and safety experience/knowledge/qualifications.
