WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager who has a background in Supply Chain/Warehouse.


This role will be based out of our U.K - Nottingham Location

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE


  • Work closely in partnership with the Senior Manager, Human Resources (Supply Chain Management) and the Senior Director, Talent & HR Effectiveness to drive operational targets
  • Provide strategic support in areas of change management, teambuilding, conflict resolution, performance management, progressive discipline, talent management, talent acquisition and employee development
  • A strong HR Business Partner to local functional leads and team members. Partnering with business leads on an ongoing basis to understand their business goals, identify market trends/needs and create solutions to address local needs. Partnering with the right stakeholders (E.g. L&D) to identify customized local solutions collaboratively.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources team on the initiatives of creating local policies/procedures and working with legal to create compliant employment agreements and various initiatives as assigned
  • Ensuring DECIEM's policies are implemented in accordance with the company's vision, mission, and strategies as well as local labour law
  • Manage employee disciplinary actions and terminations as well as partner with HR Director (SCM) and legal counsel when needed to assess and mitigate potential risk and exposure.
  • Creates positive employee relations, culture building and high engagement in collaboration with Warehouse leaders
  • Partner with people managers on the performance management process (Human Journeys) including education in goal setting, setting expectations, talent planning and measuring and maintaining accountability
  • Deliver training needs as identified (such as Employment Legislation updates, Performance Management and various workshops as applicable)
  • Working closely with the Global Payroll team to support and give local guidance on all matters of maternity, sickness, paternity and other queries
  • Preserve the cultural and structural integrity of the SCM and Warehouse group, ensure alignment globally with company values and attribute

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE


  • Exceptional organizational, time-management and communication skills, with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of UK/EUR employment legislation and its application
  • Proven ability handles complex employee relation challenges and interpersonal conflicts
  • Strong problem solver and negotiator which is an asset to resolving complex employee relation cases
  • Strong leadership skills to coach and mentor employees as well as counsel managers at all levels. Experience in HR Management in a Supply Chain/Warehouse capacity
  • A change management champion who can successfully manage Human Resources transformations as well as employee resistance to change
  • Excellent follow up skills and ability to build solid collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial
