Senior IT Technician
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Salary: £25,852
Contract: 37 Hours / 52 weeks

Homefield College is looking for a Senior IT Technician to join our small and friendly IT team; this is an ideal development opportunity for an experienced technician seeking to progress their career in a supportive environment. You will be mentored in your role to deliver exceptional support to a range of stakeholders.
Your Opportunity:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a hard-working and self-motivated individual
- Provide high quality technical support and advice.
- Troubleshoot issues with hardware and software across IT infrastructure, including desktops and laptops, both in-person and remotely
- Ensure incidents and requests are prioritised appropriately whilst maintaining communications with users until resolution
- Set up new users with relevant accounts and hardware, removing the access of users who have left
- Monitor & respond to the ticketing system and prioritise their own workload
- Assist with any IT projects that may be ongoing e.g. upgrading infrastructure
- Have an interest in all things IT and prioritise professional development as regular training opportunities will be made available in order to preserve the college’s edge in IT.
