We are now recruiting for a HR Generalist to join our HR Team.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager you will provide the company with HR generalist support and administration.
Your responsibilities as the HR Generalist will include but are not limited to:
Employee Relations – End to end management of ER cases, ensuring that any cases are managed in line with internal policies and best practise ensuring that relevant employment law issues are fully considered prior to taking any action.
Pay – Completing monthly payroll second checks, checking all contractual changes, benefits, adhoc payments/deductions, starters and leavers.
Benefits – Assisting the HR Operations Manager in the renewal of staff benefits, including PMI, life assurance, EAP and advising and answering benefit queries from employees.
HR Data and MI – Producing HR dashboard and risk reporting MI for the Head of HR, using Business Objects and MS Excel.
Regulatory Requirements – Senior Manager & Certification Regime annual certification and ensuring annual checks are completed in a timely fashion and accurate record keeping throughout.
Reward – Assisting the Head of Human Resources in collation of data for the annual bonus review, managing the mail merge of bonus communications, ensuring appropriate audit checks are in place and oversight and guidance is provided.
Statutory Reporting – CEO pay ratio reporting and Gender Pay Gap reporting, generating the data and creating the reports, checking accuracy of data and reporting results as required.
Family Friendly – Ensuring all maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave cases are managed in line with the appropriate policy and procedure and providing advice to managers supporting employees throughout the process.
Projects – Assisting the HR Operations Manager with ad hoc projects.
You will be an experienced HR professional with a good understanding of and previous experience in applying current and relevant employment Law. You must have previous experience of managing employee relations cases from end to end including sickness absence management, as well as experience of managing family friendly and benefits queries. You should be enthusiastic about Human Resources and demonstrate a passion for ensuring our people practices are engaging for the business and fit for purpose. The ability to produce and complete analysis on both qualitative and quantitative MI is preferable. Strong stakeholder management skills are a necessity and the ability to challenge where appropriate would be beneficial. Formal HR qualifications, CIPD Level 3 or 5 are desirable but not essential.
You must be a team player who enjoys collaborating and working closely alongside your colleagues.
