Job Description
As a fast-scaling organization, it's essential that you can help us enable new employees to be their best as quickly as possible, focusing on their experience and needs during their onboarding and induction. In this role, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supervise the HR department's daily administrative tasks and compliance.
- Designing & keeping the employment laws and policies up to date.
- Complete special projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
- Manage and oversee the administration of our benefits, including the annual review process.
- Ensure effective induction meetings with our new joiners.
- Work closely with HR regarding employee relations issues, absenteeism and leave policy.
- Work in partnership with our payroll provider to collate and provide payroll updates.
- Support employees with daily queries and engagement activities.
- Work collaboratively with HR on people projects.
- Manage the employee onboarding journey from offer to induction.
- Run the administration of the performance review cycle and pay review communication process.
- Setting up Visa sponsorship programs for all our offices across USA, UK and China.
- There will be a focus on reviewing and mapping out people processes and workflows, simplification is key as we align to external accreditations, making operational recommendations and improvements where appropriate
What You’ll Bring
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced HR Admin/Generalist function.
- 5+ years experience in Fintech or related companies.
- Ability to work independently with the willingness to take responsibility for outcomes, but also the ability to judge when to ask for guidance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with people, demonstrating flexibility in style and approach to changing demands.
- Commercially minded with strong business acumen.
- A clear understanding of Human Resources practices, employee relations and legal requirements.
- Discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to listen, analyze and inform appropriately while maintaining the required sensibilities in handling confidential information.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
