The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our talented HR team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

In the role of Human Resources Coordinator, your key focus will be to:

  • provide an initial point and warm welcome to all colleagues
  • produce a daily HR newsletter
  • assist the HR Executive to deliver any community and wellbeing events as allocated
  • with the help of the HR Executive, implement, drive and promote ‘celebrate success’ initiatives and recognition events across the business
  • prepare any letters and references colleagues may require
  • obtain references for all potential / offered candidates
  • prepare and submit monthly payroll pack and keep all the information on Fourth system up to date
  • ensure that all filing is dealt with efficiently and that filing cabinets are maintained and audited periodically
  • maintain and update digital and traditional notice boards
  • prepare orientation packs for all new colleagues
  • assist the Learning & Quality Manager with monthly sustainability and quality reporting

Do you have? -

  • previous experience of working in an administrative role (essential)
  • prior experience of working in hospitality (preferable)
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • great attention to detail
  • strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise
  • advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and HR/Payroll systems such as Fourth Hospitality
  • a warm, welcoming and friendly approach
  • discretion and diplomacy
