As a Costing & Operations Business Manager for Caterpillar, you will provide business analysis, cost analysis, financial counsel, and strategic planning/analysis support to the Management Team. You will provide business analysis, cost analysis, financial counsel, and strategic planning/analysis support to the Management Team of a focus facility or a full subsidiary. You will report directly to the Business Support Manager are management accountants and/or salaried support positions.
You will be accountable for driving:
Provide business analysis support by establishing target costs, cost monitoring, new product introduction analysis, value chain analysis, investment analysis, sourcing analysis, product costing and supporting worldwide new product introduction projects.
Manage all aspects of accounting and financial reporting or development of product price strategies including annual business plan, rolling business management, long term forecast and volume flexibility planning.
Accountable for division's monthly financial reporting and analysis of business statements to assist managers in managing costs and revenues in product and operations areas.
Participate in strategy development to improve accountable results.
Support Caterpillar Global Finance Strategy through transformation of our processes and automation to help generate business insights.
Required qualifications:
A recognized Accounting professional Qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent)
Strong background in accounting, cost accounting, and budget development.
Previous experience demonstrating effective leadership
Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed financial analysis and prepare strategic plans
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific action
Top Candidates will also have:
Degree concentrated in business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or related.

What You Will Get

Salary: £76,900 - £80,000 depending on experience
Contract : Full time contract
