Opportunity
We are searching for a HR Business Partner to join our HR team in Ipswich, Suffolk. As well as supporting the Ipswich site, you will also provide support to other business locations including Romania, Sweden, Germany, and France.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide end to end HR support, including talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning activities;
- Support the HR team in the day-to-day operation of the department;
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver an effective and inclusive recruitment process, taking full ownership of the end-to-end resourcing process, with a key focus on reducing time to hire, and identifying opportunities for resourcing process efficiencies going forward;
- Provide support during the annual performance management and merit cycle;
- Assist leaders with employee relations and confidential and complex matters;
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees and leaders by communicating effectively with all levels;
- Keep up to date with changes in employment law and create/update policies and procedures to reflect developments;
- Conduct strategic workforce planning to identify and execute a talent agenda in line with future growth;
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on the full range of employee relations issues;
- Facilitate training/workshop sessions with employees and/or leaders on subjects related to HR;
- Continue to build relationships with universities and school industry links;
- Lead employee engagement activities to minimize attrition, including analysing employee survey results and delivering actionable plans within the business;
- Conduct new hire 30-day reviews and provide feedback to the business/leaders;
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse the data, making recommendations for improvement where necessary;
- Initiate and submit transactional requests for employees, including requisition requests, compensation requests, change of status forms etc.;
- Taking on specific projects as requested;
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications/Skills/Education Requirements:
- A minimum of three years’ generalist HR experience, preferably within an industrial environment, although this is not essential;
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business Management or similar;
- CIPD Level 7 desirable;
- Good working knowledge of employment law;
- High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels;
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects;
- Self-motivated and customer oriented;
- Computer literate.
