Home Based with Colmore, Birmingham as Office Hub

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor looking to step up or an Operations HR Manager. The position will focus on our Operations and Central group functions, helping advise managers and other 2 Sisters Food Group sites.
You will have an excellent opportunity too be involved in complex ER cases and continuous improvement projects.
Due to the size of the organisation, there will likely be opportunities to progress and further develop your HR career
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies
- Implement effective talent management practices, including performance management, succession planning, and career development.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and the HR Leads on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment law, policies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Act as a change agent by leading and supporting organizational change initiatives
- Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives
ABOUT YOU:
If you’re fanatical about food, thrive under pressure and have the can-do spirit that’s created our success. Bring those qualities, with the following and you will have the recipe for success:
- Previous experience as a Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager
- Experience working in a manufacturing/ Warehousing/ Distribution environment, preferably food.
- CIPD Level 5
- Experience of complex ER cases
- Must have high attention to detail and be very organised
- Good awareness of Employment Law and practice
- Able to efficiently manage your time, be self-starting with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Able to adapt communication styles to influence at all levels
