Aim of the role:
To provide a comprehensive, confidential HR function to all Lygon Arms staff, building strong relationships with both the employees and the Management team to support the achievement of our vision and values.
Responsibilities:
Administration
- To show confidence in processing contracts and offer letters
- To take ownership and ensure personal files and the HR system are constantly maintained with updated information
- To update staffing lists when required
- To arrange and assist in maintaining company training requirements through Mapal system
- To manage and action post daily
- To take pride in assisting with training events and training courses
- To ensure that all uniforms are ordered and supplied correctly to new employees and the correct process is completed for the return of uniform, locker key and fob for all leavers
- To take pride in supporting and assisting in the organisation of staff events and awards
- To have confidence in processing new employee and leaver documentation
- To oversee all aspects of staff welfare, including accommodation welcome packs and checks
- To support the office by assisting where possible when conducting administration tasks.
- To manage phone calls, email inbox and pass messages

- To maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
- To think and act in a goal-orientated manner, prioritising and completing tasks in order of importance

- Prior hotel operational experience is required
