Job description
Claremont Private Hospital are looking for a full time fixed term HR Assistant to join the team. You will be contracted to work 37.5 hours per week until the end of December 2023.
HR Experience is essential in this role.
Job Purpose
To provide administrative support to the HR Advisor, ensuring best practice within the department. To ensure all tasks are completed with high levels of accuracy, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Accountabilities
To ensure data processing is to the highest degree of accuracy.
To interact with colleagues, Heads of Departments and Senior Management Team in an approachable, helpful and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general maintenance of the HR system such as accurately adding new starters; password resets.
- To enrol new starters onto Myrus training system and monitor leavers.
- To scan and electronically file new starter documentation and ad hoc paperwork.
- Assist with HR projects such as collation and recording of risk assessments.
- To respond to and signpost general queries.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Advisor.
- To complete basic audits of existing personal files to ensure compliance.
- To use third party websites to advertise job vacancies.
- To meet new starters to complete ID checks
- To carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties in order to support the HR department.
- To assist with colleague wellbeing events and activities
PERSON PROFILE
Qualifications and Training
Essential
- GCSE English and Mathematics qualifications
Experience
Essential
- Experience completing administrative tasks
- Experience of professional interactions
- Experience of processing data/information
Desirable
- Experience in a HR or Administrative or Healthcare environment
- Ideally be at least CIPD level 3 qualified
Knowledge and Technical Ability
Essential
- Strong IT literacy including proficiency in Microsoft package (specifically word, excel and powerpoint)
- Ability to learn how to use the printer/scanner and postal franking machine

- Note taking skills / moderate to fast typing speed
