Human Resources Advisor - London, UK/Hybrid - 25hours/week

Odin Vision is a multi-award winning company that provides state of the art AI enabled software applications for endoscopic procedures to aid clinicians in the detection and diagnosis of disease, supporting higher quality care, improved patient outcome and better value for healthcare payers.


We are looking for an individual to provide a professional and efficient internal customer service to managers and employees. Developing strong relationships across the client base, interacting and working effectively with managers on day to day HR issues,
supporting decision making to ensure positive outcomes for the business. Provide guidance on the interpretation and implementation of employment law and HR policies and processes. Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently within scope of established legislation, guidelines and practices


What you'll do
:

  • Oversee and advise HR-related matters at Odin;
  • Support and drive HR best practices, such as workforce and succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, and similar tasks,
  • Provide HR advice and support to leadership and line managers to enable them to effectively manage grievance, disciplinary, attendance and performance investigations and hearings, understanding the associated risks and providing credible options for resolution of disputes
  • Provide HR support for business changes e.g. restructuring activity, consultation, cost reduction, redundancy and redeployment processes and organisational design change.
  • Attend monthly Senior Management Team (SMT) meetings, providing relevant HR metrics and data and ensuring that the people agenda is at the heart of business strategy.
  • Conduct thorough exit interviews, present to the local Senior Management Team (SMT) on Exit Data and follow up with any appropriate actions as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring relevant elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks etc
  • Manage ad hoc compensation queries, such as out of cycle salary increases, constructively challenging the business when appropriate
  • Support Odin to post, recruit, compliantly hire, and onboard employees, as per Odin's hiring plan and aligned to local laws
  • Ensure appropriate HR Compliance is adhered to (right to work, automatic pension enrolment, other UK legal matters)
  • Maintain HR documentation, including training documentation, NEST pension documents, Cycle to Work scheme, ensuring congruence between all HR-related systems (plus any other benefits being offered)
  • Support/administer/action the regular employee 'pulse' surveys; share results with ODIN leadership and board
  • Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date and in line with current local legal requirements


Qualifications

  • Graduate in a relevant discipline is desirable but not essential
  • Ideally CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5) or working towards achieving this


Experience

  • 3+ years of HR work experience required, which might include any of the below:
    • HR Policy interpretation
    • HR Policy creation
    • HR data processing
    • Training and/or facilitation
    • Benefits administration
    • Employee Relations
    • HR reporting
    • Payroll administration
    • Compensation
  • 3+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, and working knowledge of the use of MS Teams desirable.
  • 3+ years experience understanding and manipulating data, using data to “tell a story”, and providing insights to decision-makers using that data is desirable

  • Working knowledge of current HR-related legal, compliance, and regulatory statutes, and ability to apply them in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate on a tactical, operational level, maintaining accurate records and producing necessary output, and use of that knowledge to support strategic and innovative thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult HR-related matters, and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
