The HR Administrator is responsible for providing administration support to the HR department and thereby supporting the organisation with its efficiency and legal compliance. Project work also required.

This role reports to the Head of HR and due to growth over the last 2 years we are expanding the HR team from 2 to 4 people. E3G has 136 staff across the entities.


Key Responsibilities


For all offices

  • Administer the lifecycle of staff through BambooHR (HR system). Become the BambooHR superuser so that staff and the HR team come to you with system questions;
  • Administer the recruitment process through BambooHR (HR system) and post job adverts. Assist Hiring managers in scheduling and coordinating interviews;
  • Organise inductions for operations;
  • Administer training courses. This will include scheduling in the calendar, liaising with the person organising the training, booking the room, work with Head of HR and managers to ensure the right people are on the course, informing staff about the course and confirm attendance;
  • Run reports when required on key metrics, for example a quarterly annual leave and sickness report and a board report;
  • Assist with update the handbook and HR policies;
  • Improve and refresh the Operations Sharepoint to ensure that HR information is kept up to date and the site becomes a place to check for regular news;
  • Capture the training from appraisals, including promotions;
  • Suggest ideas to drive efficiency in HR.

For London office

  • Assist with issuing employment contracts in the UK and ensure that they are stored on the system;
  • Ensure that individuals are set up on the system and all new starter paperwork is returned including contracts, eligibility to work, Handbook and references;
  • Using the HR System administrate holiday and sickness for the London office;
  • Ensure that information is provided for the monthly payroll on starters, leavers and changes;
  • Administrate leavers.

  • Proven work experience as a HR Administrator is desirable;
  • Able to deal with multiple priorities;
  • Proactive thinking to improve the efficiency of HR admin;
  • Hands-on experience with IT programmes and HR systems ;

Based in London, Brussels or Berlin with hybrid working. 25 days leave plus additional leave between Christmas and new year. Pension contribution plan and various benefits based on location.
